Owner and CEO: Mission Vision Tours
Mission Vision Tours was started by Deon Kitching in May of 2001. The concept of Mission Vision was born from Deon’s passion, spending over two decades serving and ministering to the people of South Africa, and desiring to see a bridge built between the rest of the world and the cultures, attractions, and landscapes of South Africa.
Mission Vision Tours prides itself in providing wonderfully dynamic tour packages that immerse the visitor in every aspect of South Africa; providing a “behind the curtain” approach to seeing and experiencing this diverse and beautiful country. At Mission Vision Tours we always remind each other of our aim, which is:
BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES OF HOPE
FOR THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH AFRICA
Every Mission Vision tour is built on the following four pillars, that are
(1) community interaction,
(2) exposure to the deep rooted socio-political history of pre- and post-Apartheid South Africa,
(3) experiencing the vast wildlife, and
(4) experiencing the beauty of the landscapes and the must see tourist destinations throughout the country.
A pivotal part of your Mission Vision Tour experience is the opportunity to get involved with people from the local community in and around Cape Town and in the northern parts of South Africa, like Pretoria and Johannesburg.
This experience opens up opportunities that will transform your life. Key to this experience is Mission Vision’s credibility with the South African community that has developed over a period of more than 20 years. People in the Mission Vision Tour team have a deep affection for all the people of South Africa, which shows in all our activities.
The community involvement program will allow you to encounter South Africa behind-the-scenes as you visit places where you will feel the heart-beat of the people. You will also have various opportunities to participate in local community projects, and meet with and have discussions with nationally known and local community leaders.
In addition you will also meet with people who have committed themselves to the awareness and the support of those affected by the HIV/Aids crisis.
On our tours you will visit local schools, community centers, and non-profit organizations to facilitate a deeper understanding of the challenges that South Africans encounter, as well develop an appreciation for their assets and strengths.
